Flat Iron was a Oglala Sioux chief that entered Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. The war bonnet he wore at the time was magnificent. All the feathers were white bald eagle feathers. He had mirrors on the head band and colorful ribbon streamers. This sculpture pays tribute to the man.
